This center is located at 2750 meters high, although there is a condominium and restaurants, as well as a nearby villa that has basic services. The skiable terrain is 38 kms spread over 30 tracks, the longest being 4 kms.

Valle Nevado
Featured by Freeskier magazine as the most important ski center on the continent, Valle Nevado is a fully touristy place with plenty of hotels, restaurants, pubs, to recover energies after the various activities that can be practiced in the snow. The ski slopes are high level with advanced lifts and excellent spaces for the most expert. It is located just 56 kilometers from the Santiago International Airport, with 9,300 hectares of skiable terrain, making it the largest in South America.
El Colorado


This ski center, located 36 kilometers away from Santiago, was created by the vision of Los Pioneros, a group that sought to establish a ski center in the central area, with a location close to Santiago.

Thus, in 1935 the first shelter of snow was built in Farellones and in 1948 the first ski lift, the Gran Bajada. In 1941, Farellones began to function as a mountain town, providing all necessary services to its visitors. In 1953, the double chair lifeline was inaugurated, enabling the western ski area.

The minimum height of this ski center is 2560 meters above sea level, on the track Los Zorros, and reaches an altitude that exceeds 3300 meters above sea level. It has a difference of 1090 meters.
Currently, it has 112 slopes and a ski area of ​​1100 hectares, reason why it is considered one of the best ski centers of South America.

The winter center (2,430 to 3,333 meters high) is composed of two interconnected villages, each with hotels and shelters. Together with La Parva and Valle Nevado, they form the largest and best ski area in South America.
